How do I know it is time ?

  • You know your pet better than anyone else, so you will be in the best position to decide on when it is time, but if you do need assistance to go over quality of life and decide whether your pet is suffering or not, you could always get a consultation from your current veterinarian.

  • The following list can help you look out your signs that indicate possible problems.

  • Mobility concerns such as unable to stand or walk on their own

  • Change in attitude such as depression, aggression or confusion

  • Not interested in wanting do do the activities they love

  • Fewer good days than bad days

  • Accidents in the house or unable o go to the bathroom without falling down

  • Lack of grooming (cats)

  • Isolates themselves from people in the household, particularly in places they would normally not go to

  • Severe weight loss

  • Not interested in food or water
